Gósol is a charming mountain village, with beautiful and contrasting landscapes all round year, depending of the season. It’s situated in the North-west of the Bergueda region (Lleida Pre-Pyrenees), within the Natural Park Cadí -Moixeró.
Gósol is in a valley surrounded by emblematic mountains like Pedraforca, Cadi, Ensija and Verd mountains. This is special feature of the place, that allows you to practice a variety of activities like trekking, Mountain Bike, Nordic Ski, climbing, etc...
You can visit the Castle of Gosol, an ancient medieval village, and walk the narrow village streets.
Here, you can also find Picasso hall, with a lithography collection of the artist during his stay in Gósol (May -August 1906). In this exhibition is also the “Carnet Català”, his Gósol notebook.
